The music artist Mickey Guyton will sing the Super Bowl LVI national anthem before the Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals kick off Super Bowl 56 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California on 13 February.
Guyton wrote on her Twitter after the NFL announced their pregame sport lineup early February. “I am shook, I am grateful, I am praise dancing…So excited to be singing the national anthem at #SBLVI.”
She joins a star-inlaid lineup of musicians performing at the 56th Super Bowl. Six-time Grammy nominated Jhene Aiko will sing “America The Beautiful,” while the Grammy winning gospel duo Mary Mary will join LA Phil’s YOLA (Youth Orchestra Los Angeles) for a performance of the Black hymn “Lift Every Voice and Sing.”
Zedd will serve as the pregame DJ during player warmups.
